Dave Barry I am a voter in Warwick and not a firefighter. I supported this contract because my family depends on the fire department frequently. Quite frankly the posts by people like yourself that are disgruntled and often rude make me support the fire department even more. My wife is a nurse and did her time in the er at Rhode Island hospital so I have a pretty good idea of what it is they do. Yikes get a clue! Stop trying to play down what they actually do, Your comparison to nurses is ignorant. There is also tons of security at a hospital so they don't have to deal with angry people like yourself, again as I stated earlier its a controlled environment. Im glad the contract got passed so you people can go away and not hijack a sincere post from the wife of a firefighter. What do you do for work because I think you also compared your job and pay to that of a firefighter?
