With narratives going back as far as the 6th century, apocalyptic literature is surprisingly current and modern. Today's emergencies and disasters are often described using expressions and phrases from apocalyptic writings – especially from the Book of Revelation.

Join Dr. Stephen Finlan for a history of apocalyptic literature in the Bible at Warwick Public Library on Tuesday, February 25 at 7 p.m. Learn about apocalyptic concepts and beliefs and discover what makes Zechariah, Daniel, the First Book of Enoch from the Ethiopian church, and Revelation apocalyptic.

For more information, call 739-5440, x9758. The library is located at 600 Sandy Lane. This event is free and open to all.
