Charles R. Proctor

Charles R. Proctor, 95, of Warwick died Tuesday at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence.

He was the husband of the late Irma M. (Skidds) Proctor.

Born in Providence, son of the late Earl H. and Helen (Roller) Proctor, he had been a Cranston resident for forty-eight years before moving to Warwick in 2005. Mr. Proctor was a lineman for the Narragansett Electric Company for forty-two years before retiring in 1987. He was a navy veteran of WWII.

He leaves one son, Charles R. Proctor Jr. of Warwick; four daughters: Donna M. Arruda of Cranston, Patricia A. Williams of Warwick, Lynn D. Cameron of Cranston and Kathy J. Pacheco of Warwick; eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late Earl Proctor, William Proctor and Ann Dimico.

His funeral services will be private. Burial with military honors will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park, Warwick.
