John D. Votta, 99, a lifelong resident of Warwick and retired aircraft examiner for Quonset Point, passed away Wednesday March 24, 2021. He was the husband of the late Genevieve (Gugliotti) Votta.
Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gaetano and Antonetta (Viccione) Votta. Mr. Votta was a World War II Navy Veteran and a former president of the Rolling Rhodies Antique Car Club.
He was the beloved father of Donna M. Regine, Gail M. Schoeler, Alan W. Votta and the late John Votta. He is the loving grandfather of Ralph Jr., Todd and Suzanne. Also loving great-grandfather of: Casey, Todd Jr. and Nataley. Brother of Rose I. Colella, Babara A. Nassi and the late Louis G. Votta and Edward T. Votta.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday March 27, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr, Cranston, RI 02920. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Visiting hours will be Friday, March 26, 2021 4 p.m.- 7 p.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick.
