Leona M. (Legere) Lewis, age 85, of Warwick, passed away Tuesday, December 5, 2023 in HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the beloved wife of Alfred Lewis, to whom she shared 56 years of marriage.
Born in Somers, Conn., Leona was the daughter of the late Fidele and Serafina Legere. She was a dedicated employee of UPS for many years prior to her retirement in 2004.
In addition to her husband Alfred, she is survived by her dear daughter, Tara Vest and her husband Russell; and two cherished granddaughters, Courtney and Abigail Vest.
Leona cherished her time spent with her family, and took pride in her role as wife, mother, and nana. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 11:00am in St. Timothy's Church, 1799 Warwick Ave, Warwick. Her Burial will be private in the Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
