Marion J. “Jean” (Martin) Sherman, 90, a retired office clerk for Stop & Shop passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at the Friendly Nursing Home in Woonsocket. She was the wife of the late Enoch C. Sherman.
Jean enjoyed playing cards and Bingo with her relatives and friends and exploring the real estate market.
Jean was the beloved mother of Enoch “Ray” Sherman (late Beverly), Catherine Allard (Michael), and Kenneth Sherman; loving grandmother of Jennifer, Kevin, Brian, Ashley, Jane, and Kenny; loving great-grandmother of Alyssa, Justin, Andrianna, and Talia; sister of Donald Martin, Kenneth Martin, Dorothy Saglio, and the late James Martin, Raymond Martin, Robert Martin, Marjorie Crossman, Gwendolyn Hames, and Barbara Ciesynski. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her funeral will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Rhode Island Veterans’ Cemetery, Exeter.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date to be announced.
