To the Editor:
Renewable energy is unreliable energy. That is the disturbing lesson to be learned from the rolling blackouts that have occurred in California and in Texas.
In Rhode Island, Governor Raimondo and other green energy advocates have pushed our state towards increased dependence on wind and solar energy. If this reckless trend continues, rolling blackouts could happen right here in Rhode Island. We need to shine a light on the folly of over reliance on so-called renewable energy before this shift from traditional power sources leaves us all shivering in the dark.
