The Wickford Art Association is thrilled to announce the return of its most popular exhibit, “Art of the Ocean State.”
This year’s exhibit introduces jurist William Heydt of Newport to curate a collection of works in all media that represent Rhode Island and all the Ocean State offers. More information about Heydt is available at williamheydt.com.
The show is open to all media and juried for entry and prizes, which will be announced June 26. This exhibit will run in-gallery from June 26-July 19 and as a virtual gallery at wickfordart.org/art-of-the-ocean-state-4 starting of June 30.
Admission to the gallery, located at 36 Beach St. in North Kingstown, is always free and open to the public. Hours are Wednesdays through Sundays, noon to 3 p.m., all summer.
The following is the call for art schedule. Registrations will be by appointment only.
Tuesday, June 23, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (open late)
Wednesday, June 24, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Thursday, June 25, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Wickford Art Association is a nonprofit organization with over 450 members from Rhode Island and New England. The association hosts art shows and classes in its North Kingstown gallery and has produced the summertime Wickford Art Festival since 1962.
